The Temecula Sister City Association is looking for families to host a group of middle school students visiting from our sister city of Daisen, Japan. Families will be able to learn more about the Japanese culture and show our visitors how the typical family in Temecula lives while supporting a sister city relationship that has been going for 20 years.

We are still looking for families to host 4 students (1 male, 3 females between ages of 13-15) that will arrive on Tuesday, July 26 and depart on Wednesday, August 3.   Each student needs to be placed with their own host family that can provide the student with their own bed and room during their stay in Temecula. Activities for the exchange students are planned for most days. The activities are free or at minimal costs so Host Families are encouraged to participate as well.

We hope that you will consider being part of this good will exchange with our Japanese sister city and serve as an ambassador for the City of Temecula. If you are interested in hosting, attached below are an application, a sample itinerary, and a copy of frequently asked questions. Additional questions can be emailed to jdinsy@yahoo.com with “Hosting a Daisen Student” in the subject line. Applications can also be scanned and emailed.
